I was a career woman and in my leisure                               time performed as an amateur artist.
In 1988, after meeting my Dutch husband,
I stopped working and moved to Holland.
In Holland I started working hard on realizing
my dream "making a profession out of my
artistic talent"                                                                          
Since 1990 I am busy daily with painting on silk and experimenting different designs and techniques.
After following some courses in different parts of the world and contacts with famous silk painting galleries, I started professionally.
In1992 I opened my silk painting studio "Atelier Golnaz" in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. Since then the results of my silk painting skills can be seen in my studio and every now and then I let visitors experience the wide range of possibilities that silk offers. Naz collection

Besides working with silk, I explored possibilities in art jewelry such as polymer clay, brass, glass, resin on leather and silver. I found precious metal clay, PMC , which I use for designing and making unique, one-of-a-kind, jewelry.
Gol collection

Finding interesting combinations between my silk and art jewelry is my present challenge.
In Persian language “Gol” means flower. Because each flower is unique, I make my Gol collection one-of-a-kind.
In Persian language “Naz” means pretty and caressing. Silk is a comfortably feeling material and with pretty designs it forms the Naz collection.
